On Feb 7, 2011 - Peace was pushed
Exactly one year ago, President Aquino encouraged all government offices and employees to actively support the peace process.
Today, the president continues to be a leader who pursues a just and lasting peace throughout the country. He pushes the peace process forward with the help of Peace Adviser Teresita Deles who has always been a firm believer that peace has won in the hearts of Filipinos and miracles can happen on the peace table.
“My fellow workers in government, for decades our country has been mired in violent encounters... Let us support the talks between the peace panels. Together let us show the whole nation, and the whole world, this government’s pressing desire for peace.”
